Internal Research Projects

synch.cc is a strong proponent of open-source software and consults on the effective implementation of an open source solution in the client's business, from initial exposure to non-Microsoft systems, to full migration, implementation and training. We custom-write and adapt software for both commercial Microsoft-based, and open source platforms. We provide both plug-in based, and stand-alone applications. Products and services are designed around the considerations of ease of use, flexibility, functionality, accuracy and effectiveness. For your perusal, we have put together a list of customer and internal research projects that we have recently completed.

Applications are written in the language most suited to the requirements, with strong emphasis on C/C++, Java and PHP for GNU/Linux systems and Microsoft platforms. Visual Studio and .NET implementations are available on request. Open Source Software is not necessarily free as 'gratis, no cost' -- it is, however, free as in 'libre' -- free access to the source code to review, and modify. Though based in Cape Town, synch.cc manages and implements systems throughout South and Southern Africa.
